Amendment XXVI

1:  The right of citizens of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age.  

2:  The Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.    This amendment gives every American who is eighteen years or older the right to vote.

Amendment XXVII

No law varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives shall take effect until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.  This provision gives the people the right to ensure that any salary changes which Congressman and Senators may give themselves may not be enjoyed by them until after the people express themselves in the next general election.
